Every message you send in a message comes with a time stamp that shows when it was sent or received, although it is not immediately visible. However, they are easy to see and can be done with a simple gesture on your iPhone and iPad.

How to view time stamp on iPhone or iPad

  1. Open up Messages
  2. Tap the conversation for which you want to see the time stamp.
  3. On the message screen, tap, swipe, and hold down to the left

This will allow you to easily see the time stamp on the right side of all your messages.
