Houston traffic: Large truck fire blocks its way southeast of I-610 Loop on Market Street

HOUSTON, TX (KTRK) – If your flight takes you south on Eastern Ring Road 610 this morning, you may need to look for a turn.

A large truck caught fire Monday morning on I-610 south of the I-10 East Freeway.

According to Houston Transstar, the backlash blocked the right shoulder, right lane and two lanes in the middle. Apparently only one lane of traffic was open near Market Street.

The authorities did not say what caused the accident, but indicated that another car was involved.

It is not known if anyone has been injured.
