Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton Celebrate Thanksgiving ‘First Marriage’

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have a lot to be thankful for this year.

The lovebirds celebrated their first Thanksgiving as a married couple in Shelton’s home state of Oklahoma on Thursday, Where the husband tied the knot in July.

“It’s a tradition. My whole family is flying abroad, and we haven’t been back there since the wedding. So I am really looking forward to it,” Stephanie, 52, told Entertainment Tonight. before the holiday.

“We have a new home there. We have a new life there,” she added. “So it will be our first Thanksgiving to get married! So grateful, so excited.”

According to the “Sweet Escape” singer — who shares sons Kingston, 15, Zuma, 13, and Apollo, 7, with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale — her family’s Turkey Day meal will be a collaboration between her and her children and mother, Patti Flynn and Shelton 45.

“My mom definitely loves to do the turkey her way. Blake loves to try several smaller turkeys.” “They loved spicy turkey in one year, and then this year I think they make a bacon-wrapped wrap. I don’t know, all the boys talk about the different things they’re going to do.”

The mother-of-three added, “I know one thing is that we never make macaroni and cheese, but we do make macaroni and cheese. This is the new added [food]. Every year I feel like we’re adding something new in it.”

Stephanie took to Instagram on Thursday to share Pictures from her special day in Turkey With Shelton and loved ones – including their adorable table setting and rediscovered childhood photos of each star.

Stephanie—who fell in love with fellow “Voice” coach Shelton years after joining the reality singing competition series in 2011—told ET that she was then looking forward to her first birthday as his wife, but she doesn’t care whether the country leaves the singer any something under the tree.

“You know? I thought about this a lot. Blake, you did a great job, you did a great job. No, I just honestly, I just want everyone to be happy and have that moment, you know what I’m saying?” said the former No Doubt leader, explaining that she You would rather make memories than open gifts.

“I feel like there’s a lot of tension in the air, and I just want my kids to have the most wonderful memories we can make together this Christmas, and I know we’ll be able to do that.”
