Google Shopping has added new promotions and deals features
Google announced several new Google shopping features in both Google Advertising and the Free Merchant Center to help merchants increase and showcase their promotions, deals and sales in Google Search. Google said the company is making it easier for you to display your advertising on more levels on Google, customize your seasonal promotions and make business decisions.
Showcase: Deals related to your search
Google has added a hint to highlight a new “your search deals” that showcase highly competitive deals and competitively priced items. Google said you can upload your ads to the Google Merchant Center, and Google will automatically showcase products related to the new deal experience.

New ways to customize promotions
Google now allows you to indicate if the promotion is only available to users who have not previously purchased from you. The ad title might now say, for example, “20% off for new users.” Google explained that whenever these promotions are shown to everyone, buyers will only be able to access the promotional price when they are eligible (as if they were shopping with a retailer for the first time). Google now also allows you to highlight your ad in free lists on the Shopping tab. You can go to the Advertising tab in the Merchant Center to choose which promotions you want to list through Organic Traffic and appear on free listings or, alternatively, collaborate with advertising costs.
Reporting more business insights
Google is adding two new features to its Best Sellers report to provide you with more relevant and timely purchase insights: (1) a seller’s historical data and (2) a relevant demand report.
