Everton players want his teammate to be arrested on suspicion of child sex offenses
Everton players are reportedly pushing for a team-mate accused of child sex crimes to be named.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed on Monday evening that a person had been arrested on Friday pending further investigations.
The statement read: “Officers arrested a man on Friday, July 16, 2021, on suspicion of having committed sexual offenses with children.
“He has been released on bail pending further investigations,” he added.
Everton later confirmed he had suspended a player and the spokesperson announced the news in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
A club statement read: “We can confirm that we have suspended a player pending a police investigation.
The club will continue to support the authorities in their inquiries and will not make any further statements at this time.
The player cannot be named for legal reasons and he firmly denies the accusations.
but according to the sun , some players at Goodison Park are asking chiefs to end rumors surrounding the team by naming the accused person.
They were also asked not to contact the player as the situation became more tense.
A source cited in the report says: “The players are very agitated, they are not happy to be dragged into it.
“Everton’s top players have been contacted day and night by other Prime stars, and they are all looking for details.”
Earlier this week, Everton traveled to America to compete in the Florida Cup, where they will play two games before facing Manchester United on August 7.

So far, he has not been charged with any crimes and is now on police bail pending further investigations.
