Europa League: Leicester tied with Napoli, West Ham relegated to a favorable group | European League

Leicester will face Napoli in European League The group stage after pairing them with the Italians in the Friday draw.

The Foxes, who missed the Champions League qualifiers on the last day of last season, returned to the European League for the second year in a row after being knocked out in the round of 32 last season.

Napoli finished fifth in Serie A last season, ending the season two points behind second-placed Milan. Leicester will also face Russia’s Spartak Moscow and Poland’s Legia Warsaw in Group C.

West Ham seem to have been given an easier task and face Dinamo Zagreb, Genk and Rapid Vienna in Group H. The Hammers are in European competition for the first time since the 2006-2007 season.

The toughest test is likely to be Zagreb, who beat Tottenham in the last 16 last season.

Rangers, who returned to this tournament after failing to pass the Champions League qualifiers, face Lyon, Sparta Prague and Brondby in a tough group A group match.

Celtic is in Group G with Bayer Leverkusen, Real Betis and Ferencvaros.

The group stage kicks off on September 16th with the due date in the next 24 hours. The final will take place at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium in Seville.

Meanwhile, Spurs faced off against French team Rennes, Dutch side Vitesse and Moura in Slovenia. Europa Conference League group G.

UEFA is reviewing whether outside fans will be able to travel, with only domestic fans watching qualifying matches across all three club competitions.
