EastEnders spoilers – Janine’s return teases with Scarlett’s arrival

Shocked cat Lexi Pierce revealed that Tommy had talked about going to meet a woman alone on the field, but he was nowhere to be found when they rushed to find him.

The two summoned the speedy police detective Callum to help with their search, but it was advice from Chelsea Fox that led them to find Tommy in the nearby park.

Once Kat and Tommy are reunited, her son reveals that he rushed to meet… Janine Butcher’s daughter, Scarlett Butcher!

After Tommy Cat filled in on Scarlett who has been living in care for some time, Scarlett asked Cat if she could come and live with them instead.

Kat felt guilty for what she was going to do because she didn’t want Tommy to find out the truth – that Scarlett was actually his half-sister!

New fans may not know that while Alfie Moon raised Tommy with Kat, his real father was Alfie’s evil cousin Michael Moon. Scarlett’s parents are Janine and Michael.

“[Janine] I dont care. She’s left me and me with ten different foster families since then,” Scarlett explained.

Later, Kat appears returning home, having brought Scarlett back to her foster family. Tommy was angry with his mother for abandoning what he believed to be his cousin.

“Scarlett lives with a foster family and that’s where she belongs,” Kat insisted.

Whitney warns Cat that it’s only a matter of time before she has to tell Tommy the truth about his brother’s relationship with Scarlett.

“Tell him who his real father is, or let his real sister grow up in foster care? Either way, he’ll never forgive me,” Kat worried.
