David Mason, principal of Westfield HS, is on administrative leave for alleged ‘school district violation’

SPRING, Texas (KTRK) – The principal of Westfield High School has been placed on administrative leave for an alleged school district violation.

According to a statement from Spring ISD Thursday, David Mason “allegedly engaged in conduct that may violate district policy.”

Details surrounding the violation were not disclosed.

The district said an investigation by the ISD Police Department and District Human Resources Department is underway.

“The school district takes every allegation of teacher misconduct seriously and will take all necessary measures to ensure students are taught in safe and caring environments,” the district’s statement read.

As of Thursday evening, a picture of Mason with the title of principal is still on the list Westfield High School website.
