Comedian Bob Saget’s Farewell Party at The Comedy Store – Deadline

Beloved Omidan and Actor Bob Sagetwho starred as The Patriarch on ABC Full houseHe passed away on January 9 at the age of 65. Since that day, friends and family have found different ways to honor his legacy. One such way is through music and comedy where Saget’s wife Kelly, daughters and friends put together a farewell party for Saget in Comedy Store– The same place where Saget built his career.

Produced by Mike Bender and hosted by comedian Jeff Ross John Stamos and musician John Mayer, the show featured performances by Jim Carrey, Chris Rock, Darren Criss, Jon Lovitz, Michael Keaton, Seth Green, Judy Sweetin, Byron Allen, and more, bringing their collective talents to honor America’s favorite dad. Stamos and Meyer, both pallbearers at Bob’s funeral, formed an impromptu house band that played along with Ross and other comics denouncing the life and legacy of their missing friend.

The completely sold out event will give proceeds to the Scleroderma Research Foundation, a cause dear to Bob’s heart where his sister died of illness. The evening ended with a raucous singing presence led by Bob’s wife, Kelly Saget, and daughters Aubrey and Lara. The poem, a tribute to Bob’s salty humor, was “My Dog Lick My Balls.”
