DENVER (KDVR) – On Wednesday we tied the record high of 73. On Thursday, we’ll go to another record temperature with sunny skies and dry conditions.
We expect 72 degrees, the record is 74 degrees in 1885. The normal elevation now is 46 degrees.
The mountains remain sunny and dry on Thursday with abnormally warm temperatures in the 50s.
The weather will be dry from Friday to Sunday.
The first storm system in two weeks hit the mountains of Colorado on Monday with snow likely in Denver on Tuesday.
If this storm system holds together, we would expect 6-12 inches of snow in the ski areas. There’s another storm behind this late in the week.
In Denver, the chance of sleet on Tuesday is 20%. Temperatures will drop at least 20 degrees starting Monday.
