Chicago (CBS) – While Chance the Rapper certainly isn’t shy about his Chicago Sky fan base, he’s more shy about revealing where he’ll wear the tattoo he promised to celebrate the team’s WNBA title.
CBS2 Chance’s Jackie Kostick asked where he plans to get the tattoo as he joins the WNBA Champions in Tuesday’s victory rally at Millennium Park.
“Where is this happening on my body?” he said with a wry smile. “Just know it’s going to happen, and look forward to more chips from these girls.” (Chip is a slang word for heroism).

Chance was one of the team’s most vocal fans during their run to win their first WNBA title, and was a guest speaker at the victory rally at Millennium Park.
Before taking the stage with the team, Chance shouted to the Sky players.
“Chicago Sky? chip! hero! Chibby! That’s it. That’s all I wrote,” Chance said. “The city appreciates you, and you can see by all the people who came out, we appreciate all of you bringing a little chip home.”
Chance also joined Sky’s players as they danced in the street outside the Pritzker Stand as they arrived at Millennium Park, before taking to the rally podium.
It’s Chicago’s first sports tournament parade since 2016, when the city estimated that 5 million people turned out to celebrate the Cubs’ winning the world championship. It became one of the largest companies in human history.
There was no official appreciation yet for the crowd that went out on Tuesday to parade victory and gather in the sky.
