Manchester United will host West Ham in the third round of the Carabao Cup, while champions Manchester City will play at home to Wycombe.
Other notable relationships include Aston Villa’s travel to Chelsea and Wolverhampton’s hosting of former manager Nuno Espirito Santo’s new club Tottenham Hotspur.
The other Premier League game sees Norwich take on Liverpool, who beat the Canaries 3-0 in their opening game of the season earlier this month.
Arsenal – who crushed West Brom 6-0 Wednesday night to score their first win of the season – they will face opposition in League One when they host the Asian Wimbledon Championships.
Southampton also scored a big win on Wednesday, defeating Newport 8-0And their reward is an away draw against Sheffield United, who have yet to score a league win this season since their return to the tournament.
Everton, led by Rafa Benitez, also faces championship opponents at Queen’s Park Rangers, as well as Leeds and Leicester, who will travel to Fulham and Millwall respectively.
Newly promoted Watford will host Stoke City, while Brighton will draw at home to Swansea.
Brentford will play Oldham – currently bottom in the Football League – and Burnley also have a second-league contender at Rochdale.
Only two of the 16 third-round matches that will not feature Premier League clubs – Preston vs Cheltenham and Wigan vs Sunderland.
The third round matches will be played in the week of September 20.
