Buffalo police are searching for a vehicle of interest after a motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Genesee and Rabin

Buffalo, New York (WIVB) – A motorcyclist has died as a result of a hit-and-run accident on Genesee Street and Rabin Place in Buffalo, and Buffalo Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the vehicle of interest.

It happened Thursday night, police said, just before 9:30 p.m. According to authorities, a westbound vehicle in Genesee was trying to turn when the driver collided with the motorcycle.

The 44-year-old Cheektowaga man on the motorcycle was taken to ECMC, where he later died.

Buffalo police are looking for a dark-colored four-door sedan. It is believed that the vehicle sustained serious damage to the passenger side doors, and a missing passenger side mirror and passenger side airbags may have been deployed.
