Brian Adams He tested positive for COVID-19 for the second time in a month and is receiving treatment in a hospital in Italy.

The Canadian rock star published the news through his official account on Instagram, Thursday, after landing in Italy, and his injury was confirmed at Malpensa Airport in Milan. “I’m here, just arrived in Milan, and tested positive for Covid for the second time in a month,” Adams wrote in the post. “So I’m going to the hospital for me.”

Adams previously tested positive for COVID-19 on October 30, hours before the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame he was scheduled to perform “It’s Only Love” with HER in honor of singer Tina Turner. His last-minute exit caused a reshuffle with Keith Urban stepping in to replace him.

The “Baby when You Gone” singer is in Italy to launch and host press events for the 2022 edition of the popular Pirelli calendar he photographed. Adams’ depiction of the Pirelli calendar, better known as “The Cal”, has been named as an ancient and respected photographer. On the road Filmed in Los Angeles, subjects included Iggy Pop, Saint Vincent, Grimes, Rita Ora, Normani, Cher, Jennifer Hudson and Sweety.

Adams was scheduled to film the 2021 Pirelli Calendar but was canceled due to the pandemic.
