Blizzard President Break Accused of Improper Monitoring of Discrimination in California

Brake has presided over Blizzard’s largest subsidiary, and the maker of the widely popular Warcraft game series, since 2013. The suit, which alleges multiple instances of discrimination, inequality and harassment against women throughout the company’s acquisition blizzard network, was widely poisoned by the blizzard and its game development team. In particular, the allegations in the suit state that Alex Afrasabi, former senior creative director of World Warcraft, harassed female employees as usual at the company’s annual convention in Belize. The DFEH alleges that the incidents were an open secret in the company, and the lawsuit alleges that Brake had “numerous conversations” with Afrasabi and that he was “extremely involved” with alcohol and female employees. Was warned to be “friendly”.
