‘Big and very dangerous’ tornado spotted in Montgomery County as remnants of Ida hit, says NWS – CBS Philly
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A “large and very dangerous” tornado has been spotted in Willow Grove, Montgomery County, NWS says. Several tornado warnings were issued across Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware Wednesday in the name of The remnants of Hurricane Ida hit the region.
The NWS says a “very dangerous tornado” is moving through it and there are indications of debris in the air. Warrington, Buckingham, Solibri, now take shelter.

It’s too early to tell if a confirmed hurricane has landed, or about any potential damage.
In Fort Washington, Montgomery County, viewer Bob Senicola sent an eyewitness video of wind and rain.

In Chester County, viewer Evan Castanes shared photos of fallen trees and siding on the side of a house in Oxford.

In addition to potential hurricanes, Ida has urged multiple flash flood warnings.
A flash flood warning is in effect for large parts of the area — including Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania suburbs, the New Jersey suburbs, and Delaware — until 11:30 p.m.
The Tornado watch has been released for parts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware as of 10 p.m.
