A New Orleans mansion in the Garden District owned by superstars Beyoncé and Jay-Z caught fire on Wednesday night.
According to reports, the blaze at the $2.4 million historic property started at 6:15 p.m. local time, and was completely extinguished about two hours later after 22 firefighters arrived on the scene.

Nola.com He was the first to report that the three-story Spanish Baroque property was owned by Beyoncé and her husband, Jay-Z, 51.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined but it was contained by 7 p.m. And it only reached one fire alarm condition.

Built in 1927 as Westminster Presbyterian Chapel, the spacious property has six bedrooms, six and half baths of 15,200 square feet.

The master bathroom – along with the impressive bathtub – has an exquisitely designed tiled floor and a crescent-shaped window that floods the space with light.

One of the guest bedrooms features deep blue-purple walls and white trim, while the other features polished gold walls and white wood trim.
The main kitchen features smooth cabinetry, marble granite countertops, and rustic tile floors, while tall windows allow light to shine through.
One of the other detached residences inside the house includes a more inviting kitchen with white cabinets and blue worktops.
The full extent of the damage caused by the fires is not yet clear.
