Barcelona believe Ousmane Dembele has already agreed a summer move to a new team amid Chelsea interest, reveals Nou Camp president Joan Laporta
- Ousmane Dembele failed to secure a January move away from Barcelona
- Club president Joan Laporta thinks he already has a summer transfer
- Chelsea, and Thomas Tuchel, Dembele’s old boss, are linked with a move
Dembele was linked with a move in the January window as it represented Barcelona’s last chance to cash in on the striker but the move failed to materialize.
He will now stay with the Catalan club until the end of the season but Laporta does not think they can convince him to stay after that.

Dembele is linked to Chelsea and worked with their boss Thomas Tuchel at Borussia Dortmund
Speaking on Tuesday at a press conference, Laporta said: “Something Dembele is difficult to understand.
Dembele is in the team and Xavi must build a competitive squad with players who have a future at this club.
We think Dembele already has a contract with another club, they have suggested that to us. What we will do is defend the interests of our club.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a move to Chelsea at the end of the season, with Sky Sports reporting that Stamford Bridge are interested.
Dembele worked with Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel at Borussia Dortmund before leaving for Spain for £96m in 2017.

Earlier in the window, Tuchel discussed Dembele’s position at Barcelona and revealed his admiration for the player he worked with for a season in Germany.
“I have no idea about his situation with Barcelona,” the Chelsea coach said. “He is a very good player when he is in good shape. I was very fortunate to coach him in Dortmund. It only lasted for one year but I wish it was longer. I left and so did he.
But for now, Dembele will have to focus on Barcelona’s fortunes.
Their season resumes at the weekend with a match against Atlético Madrid – a win would put Barcelona back in the top four.
