Apple TV + signed John Shitgo for the cast of ‘Sharper’ before filming next week.
Actor John Letago is set to star alongside Julianne Moore and Sebastian Stein in Apple TV + Apple Films and A24’s original film “Sharper.”
Lithgu will play an undisclosed role in the film, which is set to launch principal photography on Monday. deadline.
“Sharper” is based on the blacklisted Speak script by Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka, and follows the exploits of a young artist (Moore) as she travels through the suburbs of New York City. The plot of the film is not fully disclosed, although the report states that the story extends from the penthouses on Fifth Avenue to the “shady corners” of Queens.

Moore, who recently worked with Apple on the limited series “Lazy Story,” is producing with Gatewood, Tanaka, Bart Friendleich, Eric Fagg and Jessica Switch. Julia Hammer and Amy Herman are executive producers, and Judy Carron has been named co-producer.
Two-time Oscar nominee Lethgo, who has won Emmy, Tony and Golden Globe Awards, recently signed on to another Apple TV + project, “Killer of the Flower Moon.”
