Cupertino, Calif. — In a much-anticipated major event, Apple on Tuesday revealed that its new MacBook Pro will be a refurbished Dell laptop, and they’re off Craigslist for $500. “There are a few dents here and there, but the thing still works just fine – you just have to be patient when you start it up,” said CEO Tim Cook, who heralded the whole thing.A new model as a bold new direction for the company, highlights the notebook’s Ethernet port, CD drive, and Vampire Weekend bumper sticker as just a few of its high-end features. “We know the touchpad was unpopular, so you’ll be glad to know it’s been phased out. We’ve also removed the webcam. As a bonus, the new MacBook Pro will come preloaded with Minesweeper, Windows Vista, and Microsoft Office 2007. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with charger, but we estimate that there are still about two Hours of battery life there.” At the time of publication, Cook added that the MacBook Pro will start at $1,999.
