PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – As the clean-up continues after this weekend, another bitter blast of arctic air stuns the region. Fortunately, there will be a bit of a warm-up later in the workweek.
Monday afternoon rallies will struggle to break out of the 20s, leading to a bit of a meltdown today. The warm-up begins in the store on Tuesday, with hikes climbing to lows in the 1950s by Thursday afternoon.
Patchy freezing fog possible Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning with possible icy patches on driveways and neighborhood streets
Clouds increase on Wednesday before the next storm system. The cessation of the frontal front will lead to chances of rain on Thursday and Friday.
On the reverse side of this front, the Arctic air is back and any moisture around it can briefly turn into a wintry mix if not freezing on Friday as this storm comes out by the afternoon.
The weekend looks sunny, windy and cool.
