A woman was killed by a bullet in Matapan and a man was wounded
A woman was shot dead and another man was injured in Matapan on Tuesday night, and investigators are seeking information about the incident.
At approximately 11 p.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to a call to shoot a person at 106 Deering Rd. When they arrived, they found the adult victim with gunshot wounds. She was taken to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead. An adult male victim, who also suffered from a gunshot wound, transported himself to a local hospital for treatment. No other information was immediately available about the victims or the possible suspect.
