A group of migrants heading to Britain have died after a boat capsized in the English Channel.

The identity of the immigrants is currently unclear.

French Prime Minister Jean Costak-On Twitter The shipwreck is called a “tragedy.”

“My thoughts are with the many missing and injured, who are victims of criminal smugglers who take advantage of their troubles and sufferings,” he added.
