For the 37th consecutive year, the Wings Over Houston Airshow will return to Ellington Airport on Saturday and Sunday.
The air show will feature performances by two of the most prominent personalities, including the US Air Force Thunderbirds and Canadian Forces Snowbirds.
ABC13 will be broadcast live from Ellington Airport on Saturday afternoons, around 12:50, 2:25 and 3 p.m. You can watch anywhere you stream ABC13, including Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, and Google TV.
The live broadcast will include Torah performances! Tora! Tora! and the F-22 Raptor and the USAF Thunderbirds.
Organizers said they are happy to return to their traditional show after hosting Wings Over Houston for the first time Car Show in 2020 due to COVID-19.
They’re not the only ones excited to get back to work.
Colonel John Caldwell, commander of the Thunderbirds, said his crew was busy preparing some new moves for fans this weekend.
“We were able to spend the time we gained from canceled air shows last year enhancing our aerial demonstrations and ground shows,” Caldwell said. “One of our main goals has been to improve the show’s sequence with the crowd experience in mind, and we’re very excited to launch these changes for the first time at Wings Over Houston.”
