Bakersfield, CA (January 31, 2022) – At least one person was injured Monday after a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 5.

The accident occurred around 10:42 a.m. on Interstate 5 along the Fraser Mountain Park ramp.

The California Highway Patrol has responded to reports of two vehicles colliding under unknown circumstances.

Emergency teams transported a person with a head injury to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Although at this time, officials do not have any information about the victim’s condition and identity.

Furthermore, the area was temporarily closed but has since reopened to the public.
